Project Y is hiring a Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) on behalf of a UK/EU-based company that helps top enterprise tech firms expand their market reach. You’ll be part of a high-energy team driving business growth for major players in the global tech ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior SDR, you’ll play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and building meaningful connections with decision-makers at enterprise-level companies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and identifying high-potential clients across key industries

  • Conducting outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach

  • Qualifying leads to ensure alignment with the company’s products and services

  • Nurturing relationships with key prospects and booking qualified meetings for account executives

  • Maintaining detailed records and activity tracking in the CRM system

  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates

  • Continuously learning about enterprise technology, digital transformation, and B2B sales best practices

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or any client-facing role (tech sales experience is a plus)

  • A minimum of 20-30 SQL’s booked per month in your previous role

  • A minimum of 1 year professional experience in a B2B SDR role

  • Are a confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people and building relationships

  • Are driven, organized, and motivated by hitting targets and seeing results

  • Are tech-savvy and eager to learn tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • CRM Proficient 

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Are based in Johannesburg or Cape Town and comfortable working on-site daily

  • Are ambitious, curious, and ready to grow your sales career
