Location:
Remote (South Africa-based; preference for Cape Town)
Type: Full-time
Salary: R20,000 – R24,000 per month

Founded by experienced entrepreneurs, the company focuses on creating and preserving wealth through launching startups, acquiring companies, and investing across multiple asset classes. With operations in Berlin, Dubai, and Singapore, they bring a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to building and scaling businesses globally. You’ll join a dynamic international team and work directly under a senior finance professional, gaining mentorship and guidance to grow your skills.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Finance Associate with an eagerness to learn and develop professionally in accounting and finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to build a strong foundation in finance while contributing meaningfully to the team.

You will gain hands-on exposure to international accounting, multi-entity bookkeeping, and financial reporting, and will receive mentorship to support your long-term professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with bookkeeping for multiple international entities, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports

  • Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and tax advisors as needed

  • Monitor and improve financial processes and internal controls

  • Apply initiative and a strong work ethic to take on increasing responsibility over time

Job requirements

Job Requirements

  • Early-career finance professional (0–3 years relevant experience) in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, BCom, or related discipline

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a professional environment

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and exposure to accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Excel)

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Self-motivated and committed to building a career in finance
